I finished the painting! I added lots of Halloween and Harry Potter details! I also outlined a lot of the shapes to really make them pop!
The post has a death eater etched into it. The cart is the same cart from the train to Hogwarts. You can see the witch’s hat in the window, she’s resting up before the big night ;) The bush in the front are dirigible plums from the Lovegood’s. I cannot forget- the golden snitch making a little appearance. There are spiders, bats, ghosts, and pumpkins for good measure.
At the end, I lightly sponged white pint over everything to give it a little spooky edge. I added some flakes of gold for magic! I love how it turned out- just wish I had done it earlier! Should we do a Christmas one?!
