9/100: October Recap

October was so life giving! I feel like my cup is running over. I’m dealing with a little heart break right now, but on the mend! Here’s how this busy and fulfilling month went!

Coached a lot of volleyball

Playoffs started this month! We had tons of practices and tournaments throughout the month and ended in the semifinals in the state tournament. I feel like I took my time with these girls for granted. I’ve never felt so close to a team and miss them so much already!! I'm heartbroken that I'll never coach these seniors again, they are such a special and unique group. I am so excited for all of my underclassmen that are returning, but I miss hearing about their days and all of the high school highs and lows. They are such happy and uplifting people, and I wish I still got to see them daily.

Just call me Fran: Started nannying again!

I started nannying about 20 hours a week. I nannied for this family 4 years ago when their twin boys were only 4 months old. Now they are 4 and have a 2 year old brother! We have been having an absolute blast! We love walking or driving looking for skellies, pumpkins, ghosts, or spiders. They love to make pancakes with me and we have completely redone the playroom. I love getting to spend the holidays with these guys.

Digital Design Project!

My cousin Lauren hired me to help her re-design her master bedroom! This month, we started working on a plan and color scheme. We have finally narrowed it down and will start ordering and then I’ll go over to install it- hopefully this month!! This has been a dream project to work on and can’t wait to show you more. Working at Marshall’s

I am also working part time at Marshall’s. My hours have gone down since I started nannying, but it has been really fun. I’ve made some great friends and can seem to find a great deal with every shift. I feel like I’m working for free with them!

Planned our engagement party!

We are having a very small engagement party to celebrate with our friends! I sent out invites- they are so cute!!- and planned the whole thing this month! I’ll have to show you everything I designed for this party once it comes to life! I think it will be so much fun- now I just HAVE to find something to wear!!

Bridesmaid proposal gifts…

Can’t say too much about this yet, but y'all are going to DIE when you see what I designed and came up with for these. I am obsessed.

Started the 100 Blogs in 100 Days Challenge!

This has been fun but is starting to get difficult! I am up for the challenge though and really love the writing part- publishing is kind of a nightmare, but it’s all good! We’re breaking down barriers!
NUMBER 1: Beach Read by Emily Henry: I’ve heard so many negative reviews about this book and I don’t get it! I loved this story! It is definitely cheesy and romantic, but it was so sweet. I wish I could read it again because it was just so warm and interesting. Loved it! 5/5 stars
NUMBER 2: The Show Girl by Nicola Harrison: If you loved City of Girls, you would love this. It has a great and heart wrenching story line. Please look up trigger warnings before reading. I loved the story, setting, and just all of it. Beautifully done! 5/5 stars

I’m in the middle of 3 other books that I’m almost done with! Wish they would have been done in October, but it’s been a little busy! Cheers to more books this month! Overall- loved October! We celebrated 8 years together on Halloween- can’t wait for many more!
