On Halloween Eve this year I was torn. To decorate for christmas or complete the Halloween craft I bought everything for. I went to HomeGoods and Michael’s and was so tempted. I came home to get down my Christmas decorations and I just couldn’t do it. So I decided to craft!
The viral Halloween craft begins! Last weekend, I went to goodwill and bought an old painting in a great frame! I was just going to add some details but after taking it out of the frame, I realized it was a print. The coloring was also very spring-y, so I knew I’d have to make that work. I ended up using it as a template and painting over it. I’m adding fall foliage, ghosts, pumpkins, and all things Harry Potter! I turned the umbrella into a Halloween cart, and one of the pergola posts into what will be a Death Eater sign. I completed part 1 tonight and will finish adding the detail tomorrow!
